Happy Thursday, and happy Halloween!
Since it’s the last day of October, I’ve set up my monthly bullet journal spread for November. The colors for this month are purple and blue.
Speaking of the last day of October, this is the first year I’ve ever put together a real Halloween costume! Outside of distributing candy to the occasional trick-or-treater, my family didn’t celebrate Halloween when I was growing up. I did a couple of covert cosplays in college, but this is the first year I’ve committed fully. My husband and I went as Plato and Aristotle, respectively.
In other news, I started an intensive outpatient program this week on the recommendation of my psychiatrist. I’m ambivalent, as I’ve had pretty mixed experiences with group therapy overall (sometimes therapy groups are just 12-step programs by another name), and intensive outpatient is no small time commitment. This program looks promising, though. It focuses on rebuilding the daily living skills that have atrophied over time and it includes an art therapy module—something I’ve never tried! Hopefully, this is the kick I need to get back into the swing of things.
News from the blog: I’ve recently added the Projects section, a list of all the projects I’m currently working on or have in my queue. Check it out!
I hope your Halloween was just the right amount of spooky and fun. See you back next week!
